ABOUT NWAGIn 2000, Mrs. Dayo Keshi invited a handful of dynamic Nigerian women to her residence to discuss on how we could combine our efforts to impact the lives of Nigerians at home and abroad. Many of the women gathered were accomplished individuals who belonged to various community organizations. The birth of NWAG was to combine our efforts and harness our talents as Nigerian women, in service to accomplish more in our communities. Our Mission StatementThe mission of NWAG is to serve our local community as well as our country Nigeria, through empowerment, cultural enrichment, and education of women, youth and children, thereby fostering togetherness and excellence in our collective pursuits.MEMBERSHIPMembership in the Nigerian Women Association of Georgia is voluntary and open to all Nigerian women by birth or marriage, 21 years or older, residing in the State of Georgia, USA.
